Winter Training. Oh yes.

Today is the start of my blog, and I thought I would kick it it off with the first word slightly larger than the rest of the text. Fancy, eh'? Any who, I officially started training on the bike today. Three intervals at 20 mins long with 10 mins of rest in between. Cj joined me and we watched "Off Road to Athens", an excellent training choice. Tomorrow I plan on skiing; however, temperatures in the negatives might make this impossible. (bikes waiting to be trained on)

On a lighter note break was fun, although got boring and slow at times. I killed most of my time working at the shop doing treadmill deliveries and cleaning up messes left by other mechanics (Old Man Dave). The majority of the rest of the time was spent with my bestie Alyssa. Family time was peppered in between.
(Brother scratching his eye).

The car ride back to the arctic circle was entertaining. It lasted around nine hours, I would have preferred nine mins, but as a wise man once said "You can't always get what you want." We passed a few tech students, including an RA who tried to feed me pork rinds and skittles from his car. Other than that the trip seemed uneventful.

Meanwhile back at school, we have around about 3-4ft of snow, with snow banks of 3-6 ft tall. Romping (the art of wheeling into a snow bank, and flipping into the powder on the other side
) has proven to be quite difficult. We (CJ and I) have found some romp-able snow, but nothing to promising. Snowboarding is prime, and the hill has more runs and fresh powder than anything I have been on. Classes also started today, and it looks as if this semester will be much similar to last semester. Most of my classes should be easy, if not a review.

Until I get bored to the point of writing another blog post I leave you with the road that went straight for 30mins.
